Disabled Peoples’ International (DPI) is the only cross-disability global disabled peoples’ organization, having presence in over 139 countries around the world.
DPI is proud to have partnerships and associations spread across 7 regions of the world-Africa, Arab, Asia-Pacific, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe, Latin America, and North America & the Caribbean.
DPI endeavours not only to strengthen the existing regions but also to reach out to societies and countries where disabled people are left unheard and need a platform to join the disability movement across the globe. It also aims to build partnerships with DPOs who have fought for their human rights and are willing to support and strengthen the rights of disabled people across all regions of the world.
DPI cannot achieve its goal of full participation of ALL disabled people in the mainstream, if even one is left behind. Nothing about us can be achieved without ALL of us.
So, if you are a Disabled Peoples’ Organization (DPO) or a Network of Disabled Peoples’ Organization or an Umbrella Organization of the Disabled People, from the countries listed below, please get in touch with us at secretariat.dpi(at)gmail[dot]com Countries where DPI does not have a presence currently are listed below:
